Alright lads, I’m an Everton fan from nsnoand was wondering whether you would answer a few questions for us ahead of our clash? There’s a fair few so I’d appreciate it!
1) You have been in a relegation scrap most of your premier league life, do you think you should be pushing on now? and where do you think you will finish this season based on how you’ve started?
2) What are you thoughts on Roberto Martinez and his style of football?
3) Would you have begrudged Martinez if he left for Liverpool? Who would you have liked to replaced him?
4) Why do you support Wigan?
5) Do you think enough Wigan fans get to the game or is there just simply not enough fans to fill your stadium?
6) From an outside view, Rugby is your towns first sport. How has the success of Wigan RLFC affected support for Wigan AThletic?
7) Who is your most dangerous player?
8) Franco Di Santo was rated with huge potential at Chelsea, how do you rate him at Wigan?

never the less i shall reply:
1, mid table
2,14th
3, wouldn’t look back as we’d be back in the prem in 1 season
4, same really, away crowds would drop (obv)
5,9th, not enough money as you lot know. passing game that isn’t really attacking.
6,not at all, legend at our club. steve mclaren.
7, town/local team as you lot pride yourselves on.
8, young club still growing (1932) my granny is older. bigger crowds than the egg chasers though. home sell out in may v wolves.
9, WRONG! WAFC are the priority team in town hence why we tell them if they can or can’t play when we have a home match….dont believe the media driven stereotypical myth.

2. Do you all wear tracksuits and steal things?
3. Why do you support Everton and not a big team?
4. What do you not have as many fans as Liverpool?
5. Do you actually know nothing about Wigan, or are your questions deliberately patronising – like the ones I’ve asked above?
I’m just going to pick and choose some of the questions as there are just too many to bother with.
4) Average attendance would be around 14k mark I reckon.
6) No in so much as they are a much bigger club than us, but he would have had to have delivered instant results which I’m not sure any manager could achieve.
14) The reason Wigan are pie-eaters:
Nothing to do with the large number of pies eaten in Wigan but to do with a miner’s strike in the 1920’s when all the pits in WIgan and Leigh went on strike. The Wiganers went back and broke the strike, the “Leythers” continued to strike and got better pay and conditions. Therefore the Wiganer’s had to “eat humble pie”… so it’s a term of abuse from Leythers to Wiganers. The hostility between the two towns stretches back hundreds of years to the civil war when Wigan was Royalists and Leigh were Parliamentarian and continues to this day.
However, we do eat a lot of pies, have a lot of pie shops and hold the pie eating chamionships. Wiganers have always been quite good at mocking themselves to defuse the jokes. Orwell wrote The Road to Wigan Pier which really criticised Wigan. What do we do, celebrate him and name a flippin’ pub after him by the infamous Wigan Pier!
16) If somebody came to us in the mid-nineties and said they were going to build a modern 25000 seater stadium and take you from the forth tier of English football to the top and keep us there for at least 8 years, they could have a lot more than a statue outside the stadium!

Been a bit of a disaster this hasn’t it? Which ones are patronising? didn’t mean them to be, I’ll re-do them and make their less questions assuming not every question is disrespectful :lol:

just use my original ones pal, save a lot of hassle. Theres a lot of worryers fans who support everton instead of their own town club, so your gonna struggle with questions like that (even though you’ve edited them very slightly).
