Funny how quiet it is when there’s nowt to moan at.
It’s great. Well done Tics, let’s hope there will be many more quiet Saturday nights.
Like you say Al, doesn’t the Malt/Ale/Wine taste good again tonight. Look forward to another decent drink when the youngsters win at Villa Park and next Saturday when we play the luckiest ever club in the history of English football.

Its always way too quiet on here for my liking after a win.

      #161328

Probably because most people are too busy patting each other on the back and getting drunk, or in my case WORKING ALL THE F*****G WEEKEND but at least I’m not bitter about it.

I can’t get too excited until this bloody window shuts. Its going so well im dreading that bids will start rolling in for our best players. If we still have the boys all here come September then ill get excited

With a bit of luck you might even vote on the poll once the window shuts.

I just dread seeing jim white jumping up & down on SSN on deadline day, that wigan have accepted very late bids for nick powell, will grigg & dan burn. With no time whatsoever to replace them.

Which one will be first do you think?
I reckon Powell then Grigg. Hopefully we can keep them all at least till January.

How can we let Grigg go? We have sold Bogle and Woolery and Toney is a loanee so can he be recalled?. I doubt that the club will sanction any transfer involving Will unless a ridiculous offer comes in and we can replace him. Burn and Powell are the ones that really worry me. Both spud yed and backhander harry are under pressure to get players in and this would be where I expect the bids to come from.

Great start to this season with a comfortable win on Saturday.I agree about the window ,need to keep hold of everyone but i’m concerned we may lose key players.Rumours of Grigg being a target for Charlton .Makes sense as Robinson had him at Mk Dons.Unless stupid money then we need chairman to put foot down and not authorise it,particularly to one of our rivals.

Cant see Charlton being able to afford Grigg or us selling to a rival. Don’t see any kudos in this rumour crammy lad.

Yeh wouldn’t make sense I agree, also heard Birmingham were interested, interesting to see if he moves back to the championship and if so how he does.

Would rather keep him though unless we have someone better incoming to replace him before he is sold .. which for Latics never happens does it
