      I resisted in posting until it was official but it now seems to be true. A true servant to our club, Pity his exit was somewhat unceremonious.

            No, he was here at the start of it. Number two to John Deehan when we won the third division in 1996. It was ‘Benno’ that brought in Andy Liddell and Arjan De Zeeuw. He also brought in Brendan O’Connell,who would’ve been a key player had injury not curtailed his playing career.

                I did wonder why we were wearing white armbands….people I spoke to at the ground didnt knbow.
