My only surprise is that’s he’s being hung out over his offshore accounts and money he’s been receiving to avoid paying tax. Football is loaded with people who have paid little or no tax at all I wonder if this will have a domino effect?
To answer my own question, no. Whelan has many accounts offshore but he’s perfectly safe the Conservatives will make sure of that! He donated 2 million to them don’t ya no!
So you’ve never paid someone to do a job for you for pound notes, bit of decorating, fix your car, or bit of building work perhaps just to avoid VAT -a payment you know they would not have declared, perhaps you may have earned a little extra sometime with declaring to the inland revenue yourself.
casting stones and all that springs to mind.
Where there is money involved there is always a scam/fiddle going on no matter what level.

Areet ste hows yourself, long time no see – credit crunch stopped our away trips .
regarding the tax fiddling stuff – we cant have it both ways mate – I wanted corrupt bankers and bent politicians hung drawn and quartered so do we say its ok for poor people to cheat the system and rich people not ?
some others (including ordinary working folk)feel the poorest in our society ie social security claimants cheating the system should be brought to task – a single mother not declaring a pittance wage working part time or not telling the council shes shacked up with a bloke and still claiming housing benefit, blokes working for less than minimum wage and still signing on because an unscrupulous employer wont pay a fair wage, in principle I want these prosecuted as well, so i am afraid though its something we have all done, how can I condone a bit of wink wink VAT/tax avoidance.
edit
retiredfan get off your moral high horse and tell me you have never ever cheated the system in any of the ways (or others) I have mentioned in this or my previous post, and if you do I will call you a liar.
I miss the away trips mate, lets say Redknapp is found guilty, should it stop him taking the England job?
I wasn’t condoning what he’s done in my last post, if hes found guilty he should be jailed and the punishment should fit the crime, as you stated he is a millionaire and earning top wages so for me should be treated harsher as there is less need or reason for him to do it.
If he does get found guilty, I think it would make it immpossible to employ him in the england managers role.
