Didn’t realise that Reece James made history on Thursday as the 100th black player to play for England. Great piece of history for him to be a part of and his no doubt long England career has begun
Well as an ex player who was superb for us and then gave money to the crowdfunder and persuaded many others (some not even connected to wigan) to do the same…..I do.

Every Latics fan is forever grateful for what Reece did for us, as a player and fan but lets not keep tossing ourselves off every move the lad makes, he’s a ex player (on loan) end of, get a grip ffs!

Always interested in arguably the best ever player to don a Latics shirt in our entire history.
Don’t care a fig if he was on loan or not he still developed playing for the club and will watch his career like many other supporters.
Merge Duncan Edwards , Franz Beckenbaur and Zedane and that’s how good I think he will become.
