Three substitutes used yesterday yet a potential match winner in McMannaman left snubbed on the bench. That seemed really strange indeed.
Undoubtedly a foul and incompetent refereeing to boot but agree that we still should have had enough to have got something. Stoke apart we still conceding really soft goals and anyone who thinks Rotherham will be a duck shoot need think again for as much as we think we’ve started campaign well and they’ve struggled we are only 1pt ahead of them. Clean sheet and turn possession into goals send us into break in a good position.

I’ll have a look later when I get home & give my expert opinionLooks like a foul to me – puzzled with Cook saying that he (the ref) had all the other officials telling him it was a foul though.
No 4th official would ever try to come in on a decision from that far away. Same for the asst on Cook’s side too. Doubt that they would also have tried to drop the ref in it like that either.
It may have been that Cook asked em & they said they thought it might have been a foul from thei angle but the ref was in the better place to make any decision
