Would anybody swap saturdays FA cup win for premiership survival.

      Not me

And if as i’m sure there are many people who think the same, then
get there on Sunday and let the team know we are not disapointed in the last 8 years magnificent achievientments.

Watched the match last night and when Arsenal celebrated 4th position and every one in our team last night, were cup winners how indicitive of the Premier league when finishing 4th means more than a cup winners medal sad to be relegated but it could be a good thing to aspire to winning the championship next season onwards and upwards.

Good point doodelio. Going down is not the end. Stress free football next season. Just like oud days.

Oh thank God. Back to normality and Darkside whingeing.

I thought that I’d logged in to the wrong board with all the positive messages around :)

Its true and relagation is the proof. no good scoring at one end if you cant keep them out at the other. If your playing 3 at the back they need to be top defenders and able to read each others game. Caldwell for one is neither.

Would have been nice to be able to play all our best defenders at the same time what with all the injuries we’ve had.

Hindsight eh ! Many said survival over FA Cup on a different thread ages ago ! Ramis was berated by many on here before his injury and yes we were poor even with a fully fit defense ! Certain things were not addressed in the January window and we just never really got going. The drop aint the end of the World but I would be concerned if we don’t hit the ground running because the ‘Double Drop’ is all to common an occurrence these days between the Prem and League One !

If Martinez is still in charge and we hit the ground running it will be a first under his leadership, usually we are well brassed off come the end of September
