We carry on like that today and I carn`t see anything but ,the 3 Mc`s carn`t play in the same team, they r all to much alike, defence the quicker Caldwell yes I did say Caldwell and Ramis come back the better, was it 11 pts difference from play off to relegation last season with the team going down on 50 pts plus, I can see what direction we are going, must do better we missed Maloney today any thoughts
25 August 2013 at 10:26 pm #119835Yeah chill it will be reet
25 August 2013 at 10:46 pm #119838Chill after watching that garbage I`m going for a pint
25 August 2013 at 10:53 pm #119839Another stunning free kick to save the day and as good a performance from our goalkeeper as I have seen for many a year to save us a point.
26 August 2013 at 12:08 am #119846Carson was man of the match by a country mile today.
The weak leaks were McCarthy, McCann and Beausajour.
I also thought Espinoza, McClean and Gomez were great when they came on, and should be on from the start on saturday replacing the three others mentioned above.
If Maloney is fit, then Jordi can stay on the bench and be used like today.26 August 2013 at 3:34 am #119860This was wake up call number ….. hmm, I’m losing track.
I have to say that I was thoroughly entertained today. The turgid and depressing tedium of premier league football has been replaced by the ebb and flow of attacking exciting and entertaining championship football and I hope to see many more games like today. Thankfully I’m long passed being obsessed by football “results” and can enjoy the beautiful game for what it is and today I enjoyed watching 2 teams going for it. Unfortunately, the opposition were better at it than my team but still a very entertaining afternoon all the same.26 August 2013 at 6:18 am #119863Horc We agreed that the 3 players that should be dropped are the 3 you mentioned ! We are mates though and so that is just bollocks to some folk ! £20m !! If we get £6m we have robbed some fucker !
26 August 2013 at 11:06 am #119868I got it exactly like horc and filmoss. why on earth we keep on playing Beausejour is beyond me I have never seen a less attacking winger. Would be a left back if he could tackle. liked the 2 up front shape..thats an improvement over last week.
Whats the work on Maloney…injured or going?
27 August 2013 at 1:52 am #119905My response yesterday was a but tame but WTF is this post all about??????????
Relegation form isnt usually averaging five points from four games -it would put us on a about 60 points which is hardly going to relegate us is it?
We have a new team that is gelling and learning the facts of life in what is probably the most exciting and competitive league in europe.
The team will improve and our best players will come back so results are sure to improve given a little bit of time.
I appreciate it is a bit of a culture shock seeing misplaced passes and some hoof ball but bear in mind we have dropped a division and this is how things are going to be from now on!
Personally i have enjoyed the two home games so far and appreciated the effort on show as well as the frenetic style of football that is played in the championship.
My prediction is we will reach the play off places and we will win next saturday.27 August 2013 at 4:56 am #119914We’ve still got a Premiership midfield. Are they obliged to misplace their passes in the Championship? Wouldn’t it be simpler if they just continued passing to each other?
It would help if the defence played through midfield too. At the moment they are missing it out.
