3 late goals at Wigan,Rovers,Cardiff and the trend is now being set for who will be involved in a prolonged relegation battle. For me with Rotherham looking doomed it’s 2 from 5 to follow and with today’s missed opportunity then we are certainly favs to join them….Oh …and let’s try that statement again….”the next 3 games are massive “….Long way to go so always hope but something has to click soon or we will fade further.
17 December 2016 at 9:49 pm #153225Things clicked today Dereck. Desperately unlucky.
17 December 2016 at 9:57 pm #153226So were Rovers.Bit of a pattern forming….nil points again.Sunday league defending……I’m afraid we could have lots of “unlucky “results in the near future. I still think we have enough to get out the s***….but it’s like hiking through treacle at the moment. Can only persevere and hope we get some luck.
17 December 2016 at 10:23 pm #153227Yanics had a stormer but is he colour blind? His final ball was terrible at times.
17 December 2016 at 10:28 pm #153228Thought we played well today, but defending was abysmal. Burn and Buxton are feckin cack
17 December 2016 at 10:57 pm #153229Defence was dodgy but Ipswich were very quick moving that ball from defense to the goal mouth. Yanic showed his class and pace at times but we still seem slow through the midfield. However there were some lovely passes played to Yan out wide. We played pretty well indeed against the twelve of Ipswich in a game that should have been put to bed before Ipswich got the winner.
17 December 2016 at 11:18 pm #153230Much improved performance (with some exceptions…defence etc), but still the same result ultimately yet another home defeat.
Whilst the performance was better, it’s a results business and a defeat to Ipswich is far worse in the bigger picture than defeat to Newcastle. Defeat on Boxing Day would be in another league of despair.
17 December 2016 at 11:29 pm #153231Yet another poor team leaves our place with all three points!! What does that say about us.. We were dreadful for the first 30minutes, like they’d never played together before.
Our defence cost us points today, along with the ref, he was a clown in the first half that fella. Kellett is a poor player IMO, we must have better than him surely.

We have, Warnock who played at Right back!!!! And not that well out of position either.
What is it with playing players out of position?18 December 2016 at 2:34 am #153235No need for it, Luke Burke on the bench today!
Fuck the EFL
18 December 2016 at 1:45 pm #153242No need for it, Luke Burke on the bench today! The better choice in hindsight
18 December 2016 at 4:50 pm #153249Strange how people see the game different as I thought Kellett was pretty good yesterday.
18 December 2016 at 5:39 pm #153256Kellett is better in the right back position and bar one wrong decision against Newcastle he had a good game when he came on, so why he was switched to left back yesterday is beyond me? Warnock played right back? He had a bad game in my opinion, so why the changes from Joyce?
