They don’t have a Head Coach at Sunderland. Eric Black or Keith Bertschin is the nearest you’ll get. Was it either of them?
If not, I think you’ve been wound up mate.Why would they buy Kirkland when they’ve got Fulop and Gordon, and why would they need Hugo when they’ve got Campbell, Jones, and Bent?

No way will Rodallega be allowed to leave. It’s quite clear how vital he is to us and now even Uncle Dave has a grin like a cheshire cat at our current squad and management. I just get this warm and homely feeling about the place these days. Didn’t think i would be saying that this time last year. This current crop we have seems to have been won over by Martinez’s obvious man management skills and i don’t think big dave will break it up unless Roberto gives his express permision. Now we had something like this when Bruce started out last season and it went pear shaped, Hopefully he has learned from his mistakes. The money WAS good last season and isnt a huge priority any more. In my opinion we only lost 2 good players lastseason, Palacios and Valencia. Cattermole for me was distinctly average, Just an over rated hot head who wasn’t afraid of a challence and i feel Palacios has been well replaced. He has been replaced by 2 players and at least Thomas has one advantage over him, He can shoot. Diame is more refined but very good at what he does. Looking forward for tomorrow and sorry for the essay, My fingers get carried away when i start.

And the source of this is a vague report in a Spanish paper (that like ours needs to find copy each day) that we are after a left back, and we then put 2 and 2 together to make a story.
Maybe he will go…. but to be honest if I were Sunderland’s backers I’d be wanting Bruce to be looking further than getting all of Wigan’s old team in. After all we didn’t exactly set the world alight, did we?
