Not cut and dried really ! Burnley look goosed, Hull could get 6 or 9 points if they make a push for it. I think West Spam might be in trouble.

West Ham v Man CityBurnley will go down, West Ham will stay up. Dame Trevor Brooking will see to that. Sadly, that leaves us in 18th.
30 March 2010 at 1:22 pm #28024Do you think Tricky Trev will ensure that we have Attwell for our remaining fixtures then ?
30 March 2010 at 1:35 pm #28025Bolton will be sucked back into it in a couple of weeks, them and West Ham have some seriously big games.
30 March 2010 at 1:36 pm #28026i think fooking brooking as been involved over last few games ,tapping up refs .

30 March 2010 at 3:41 pm #28035Its looking bleak for West Ham now. They need to win their next two home games (Sunderland & Wigan) or they are as good as down.
You guys may well get the honour of sending the cheats down if you beat them on 24 April, particularly as Hull could well have picked up another 6-7 points by that date.
31 March 2010 at 1:34 am #28102i’m sticking to who isaid would go down at the start of the season:
pompey
hull
burnley31 March 2010 at 1:42 am #28103Forget about everybody else.
All that matters is that we win against Portsmouth and Hull. Fail to do so, and we might go down. (That’s assuming we get nothing from Fulham away and Arsenal at home)
Don’t beat Pompey and Hull, we deserve to go down.
31 March 2010 at 1:45 am #28104Hull, Burnley and Pompey for me….however, now Phil Brown’s left Hull I dont mind them staying up with West Ham going down in their place. Pompey somehow surviving at the expense of Bolton or Blackburn would make it even better, would love to see the Fat One get relegated….in fact having Diouf in their team should mean instant relegation

Having said that, out of the bottom 3, I’d love Portsmouth to pull some sort of miracle off and stay up, purely because it would annoy the Premier League who I believe can’t wait to get rid of them, so they can implode elsewhere, and not damage “The Premiership Brand”.
However, that would probably mean they would have to come and beat us, so based on that, I hope they go down, and it is us who continue to annoy the people who think that the Premier league is all about money, painted faces, and 50,000+ crowds, half of whom have flown in for the game. Lickle Wigan just doesn’t comply with their corporate-targetted rubbish. So the longer we can stay in the league…..the better.
31 March 2010 at 2:31 am #28110Agree totally, the PL would love it if us and Pompey went down. That said, I genuinely think we will stay up…the Bolton game apart, we’ve shown that we can play a bit recently and seem to have that bit of fight about us, even though we’ve lost against both Villa and City…we actually played reasonably well in those games and were beaten by a good side in Villa and a world class footballer in Tevez
