Almost certainly there, but was only twelve, so not absolutely definite. Looks like Peter Houghton heading the ball on the front cover.
13 March 2013 at 2:32 am #105114Actually, looking more closely I’ll go for Micky Quinn.

Peter Houghton heading the equaliser against Chesterfield in the FA Cup.
We were at that time 6th from bottom of the 4th Division with 20 points. :(
I played snooker against Dave McMullen around that time at Goose Green Labour Club. I was in with one of my mates and he came over for a chat as I was wearing a Wishbone Ash sweatshirt. He was a big Rainbow fan as I recall.Nice bloke too.
Bumped into him again in the Royal Oak one night – he was with Mark Wignall and Jim Oliver. Remember them? I remember Wignall scored 2 great goals against Chelsea when we beat them 4-2 in the league cup.
13 March 2013 at 12:06 pm #105120Correct Argus.and a certain fancy Dan on the team sheet also.great memories .great times.
13 March 2013 at 12:25 pm #105121Also if I’m not mistaken,Crewe’s goalkeeper in the Boxing Day fixture was Bruce Grobelaar !!
