probably attended, was about the time i started going properly, used to be on the front of springfield scene regularly stood against the pop side wall
I was at the game v Scunny away when Beefy made his debut and we absolutely destroyed them. Good to see the old Springy Scene again and I too would have been at the game.Some greats from the past on the old teamsheet.

Yes I was there,also at the first game in the football league at Hereford,proper history not how many posts one can clock up on a forum :lol:

I played snooker against Dave McMullen around that time at Goose Green Labour Club. I was in with one of my mates and he came over for a chat as I was wearing a Wishbone Ash sweatshirt.He was a big Rainbow fan as I recall.Nice bloke too.
Bumped into him again in the Royal Oak one night – he was with Mark Wignall and Jim Oliver. Remember them? I remember Wignall scored 2 great goals against Chelsea when we beat them 4-2 in the league cup.

And the Hereford 1st game, can still smell the cow shiite from the cattle market outside the away end.
