      Because it is not reserves who play in our reserve team,its youth players.
      a proper reserve team would include…..
      Kirkland,Caldwell(S),Watson,Boselli,Moses,Gomez,
      Di Santo and McArthur.

        Had the selfsame thought myself when I looked at the team playing West Ham yesterday. In general first team squad players still don’t play for the Reserves unless they need match practice after an injury.

          Man City have re-named reserve football, well their team anyway, its known as the Elite Squad :D

            Look at the team that played against Sunderland res – now that’s a reserve team
