What are your thoughts on the players sent out on loan this season – will they be back in the fold come August, or will they be moved on quietly during the summer period?

Emyr Huws, who was very critical of the club and downright disrespectful to GC and the squad he was assembling still has two years to run on his contract. I suspect that he will not be welcomed back with open arms by the current squad and will be moved on (at a big loss), but what about Andy Taylor & Billy McKay – do you think they will be back at the DW next season?

I don’t think Taylor or Huws will return because to be honest they would not strengthen the squad.
Billy McKay could retun to replace the likes of Davies on the bench, but that also depends on what we do with the likes of Vuckic and McEleny.
I was told yesterday that Warnock will sign if we go up, but whether Everton (might depend on who is manager there) and Newcastle will let the others go remains to be seen, but then again GC may have other ideas.

Don’t think any will return but if any it would be Billy as bench warmer. Vuckick wont stay as he hasn’t figured really in Garys plans. McAleny possibly could be signed as at his age now he will be looking for a first team place somewhere and hasn’t made it at Everton and could be surplus to their requirements. Whether McAleny or Billy are Championship materiel that is another question. Taylor not good enough last time and Hughes wrong attitude.

What does it matter to you Smutty, are the eggs and Mackems not cutting the mustard so you’re thinking of coming back?

Why did you stop supporting Wigan Athletic?

          Fuck the EFL

McKay has been in cracking form since going out on loan but I think he’s enjoying his time across the border, can’t see him wanting to come back to sit on the bench. Would love to keep hold of Warnock and McAleny but not getting my hopes up too much, suppose it depends on the new manager at Everton for McAleny!

I for one liked huws as a player, but as his attitude stinks – then sorry get rid. Mckay – i havent seen enough to comment, but what i did see, i wasnt impressed. But, was that due to bad management?? Taylor would not get back into the team. James & warnock have more quality. Cant remember who else went out last season, but whoever it was, we havent missed them.

As regards the loanees we have borrowed – i think mcaleney & wabara are the one who have stood out & i would like us to sign them. Wabara is just one of those players who does nothing spectacular nor rubbish but just does a job. Given mcaleney’s age, if he hasnt cut it at everton now, he never will. Not too sure about vukic. If we did sign him – bench warmer & carling cup player at best.

            Wabara is our player anyway.

He was signed on a free – on a short term contract.

So if Cadwell wants to keep him and he wants to stay, it’s just a matter of offering a new contract.
