What’s the point of signing another benchwarmer. Cook doesn’t believe in strikers that’s why our own don’t score.But would he be? I’ve just checked his stats & he is still 29 – 30 in February. He knows where the goal is. Im pretty sure he would start from the off. For 6 months, I would definitely have him on loan.
even if we signed harry kane (uninjured) he would struggle to score with cooks setup. Maybe with an attacking mid in dowell that we have been crying out for for years and a more attacking setup, then with the addition of a proven goalscorer… could turn our season around
