Is it a wise move bringing in a North Korean player? After the negativity the club received over Mr Whelan and his Chinese comment and Malky being appointed do we need this. Imagine the vitriol the lad would suffer from opposing fans. Vital reckon both parties have agreed but issues over a work permit. Leave him where he is and look elsewhere.

5 September 2017 at 6:05 pm #161803Get him signed up, was always a bit jealous of that United song, be great to hear it ringing round the DW. Uncle Dave aka Chairman Mao leading the way from the West Stand directors box….

6 September 2017 at 12:27 am #161805This doesn’t seem like a move Paul Cook would’ve generated.
With the current political situation, I think we would be crazy to go through with this. Why? Why attract so much negative publicity, when we already have players capable of playing at right back? There’s something very fishy about this. And Like somebody said, he’s going to get targeted by other teams fans, a move that will at best, unsettle our side and affect our form, or at worst, annoy Pyongyang and the watching Korean agencies so much, he finally pushes that big red button.Never get political with football transfers. We would be absolutely mad to do so, in my opinion. That’s not taking into account the logistics of language barriers and cultural differences.
No thanks. Seems crazy to me.
