However, the reverse of such comments on shows such as loose Women seem to be acceptable.
Equal opportunities gone mad.
And yes, I DON’T think there should be female officials. For me, the only females in a football ground should be brewing up and serving food.
Sexist? Nope. It’s a man’s sport, and a male environment. Always has been, always will be. Until a female runs out to play in a football league or Premiership game, they should NOT officiate at the level.

Couldn’t happen to two nicer blokes. Looks to me like they’ve been stitched up by someone in the production team – they’re probably on like that all the time
Why not have women officiating. Firstly, they can’t do much worse than some of the men we have. Secondly it might shame the players (and managers) into showing the officials a bit of respect instead of screaming obscenities in their face.
I dont understand why they were calling her she got the big decision in the game right and had a better game than many of the male officials i have seen and kept up with play more than many of the overweight old men running the line

I’d be careful what you say mate, you could get up to 6 months in jail if an old, overweight linesman takes humbridge to that politically incorrect comment. :o
But if thats what passes as “banter” as some people were calling it on Radio 5 this morning, then I’m glad I don’t work there.
What I heard was two stupid bitter old men, the sort of pub bores you run a mile from. There was no humour in what they were saying, and a real malicious edge. I’m guessing they’re like that all the time and someone on the Sky production team has got fed up and decided to stitch them up.
Its similar to when Ron Atkinson got done for being a racist.

A controversal call yes, but after watching it many times over, unequivocally the correct one. Fair play to her, she’s back in the job tomorrow night, un-phased by it all seemingly.

To be fair, I think she was unaware of it during the game, as it was said before kick off I think.
