I well remember listening to his fights on the radio (not televised live then) – waiting for “‘Enery’s ‘ammer”.
Unfortunately always seemed to end (in my memory maybe) with Harry Carpenter saying “there’s a cut over Cooper’s right eye”.

Only just heard from reading this post. I have noticed as i am getting older 42 now i am noticing people who i remember from my childhood are dying every other week. Poly Styrene last week from X ray specs. R.i.P Henry!. that was one hell of punch to send Ali to the canvass :angry-boxing:
