The Rochdale game has been moved to 13:30 Easter Monday to accommodate the chubbies game later on against Hull bankrupt rovers they will have to kick off at 20:00 (that’s 8pm for the peepers) anyhoo a day on the pop for some folk
UP THE TICS http://www.wiganlatics.co.uk/news/article/latics-v-rochdale-1.30pm-kick-off-easter-monday-2969650.aspx
24 February 2016 at 1:43 pm #147374Don’t mind a 1.30pm kick off on a Bank Holiday me, dont think Rochdale will mind too much, not far to travel, sooner have that than a 8pm kick off.
The Slutch Rats can’t say owt, at least we try to accommodate them one way or another, its only right that the stadium owners call the shots
Fuck the EFL
24 February 2016 at 1:56 pm #147375They are moaning about the kick off time you just can’t please some folk
24 February 2016 at 3:41 pm #147377The only ones who are moaning are those who rely on public transport to get home which may not be as frequent as it is on a regular Friday night. Perhaps the Hull KR fans aren’t happy, but they don’t travel in huge numbers any more, so that would only affect around 100.
For the majority of Warriors fans, 8pm is a great time to play – spend the BH with the family doing something and then off to the rugby for the evening.
The Stadium Management should be commended for their ability to put on two sporting events in such a short space of time. I hope their efforts are rewarded by large numbers turning up to support both games.

Smutty or would you prefer your other alias “Big Flags Everywhere” these days? :woohoo:
No worries there will be a good turn out from both Latics and Rochdale fans, according to what i have heard/read the the glory hunters that live outside of Wigan won’t be attending for the 8pm kick off, you’ll be lucky to get 8,000 on.
Looks like your Chairman has had his belly tickled again!
Fuck the EFL
24 February 2016 at 5:13 pm #147379I don’t need multi-alias IDs to pretend someone agrees with me – I prefer to argue my point based on facts in an adult way and stick to the same ID.
Its clear why Mr Lenagan & Mr Whelan are very rich and very successful businessmen and you are not – they work together to find a mutually agreeable solution when confronted by a situation not of their making.
Lose the big chips – its not the 1980s any more.
24 February 2016 at 7:26 pm #147380Why not give them something to moan about and make them play at eight the day after or at The Macron. Sod compromise with those ungrateful lot.
24 February 2016 at 9:31 pm #147381Just a thought like but how’s about both clubs offering free admission to season ticket holders of the other team, might go some way to mending relations between fans.

The idea was aimed at ST Holders. You were outed as a non-ST holder a few weeks ago when having a rant on the WEP about how you’d paid £20 for a seat to watch an awful performance against Blackpool. Cant remember whether you were masquerading at that time as Sir Masher Johnnie, Victory Vee, Stey or Ronnie. The names become a bit of a blur when the same claptrap is written.
