Repeated through the week on Sky Sports. Not sure why the club dont mention stuff like this on the official site, it would make sense.
Anyway, he says earlier this year (January?) he spoke to Arsenal directors and agreed terms to joined them but it fell through when both clubs started to discuss it. Says he’s still young so wasnt overly disappointed that it didnt go through and that he’s happy to stay for another 6 or 12 months before “pushing for a transfer”
Although i’m not sure if it was an old interview and has just been rehashed. All of the match action was from last season and the shots of him at the training ground and of the stadium looked like it was from the middle of summer and the club shop had all of last seasons shirts on display.
