Would he really quit United or is this the attempt at bargaining by his agent for the ongoing contract talks. United have of course come out and said it is all balls and he is going to sign a new deal soon.
In the form he has showed since the end of last season, where would he be going?
If it is his agent stirring it, it is good top know it is not just us that gets it.
18 October 2010 at 1:32 pm #48959I can’t fathom this whatsoever. The only two things I can think of are: –
1) Personal life/media is hurting him and a move abroad preferred
2) Guilty of all charges and needs to feel “important” in light of whatever trouble he has been in
18 October 2010 at 2:40 pm #48960couldn’t give a turd about Rooney or Man U….I would pi55 if they started going the same way as the scousers….what are the chances of them both being championship sides within the next 2-3 years?? (I am probably dreaming though)
….anyway, there would be plenty more “Wiganers” saying they were Man City fans all along :o
18 October 2010 at 9:19 pm #48979Isn’t it brilliant to see Liverpool going down the sh1tter, and Rooney falling out with Fergie?
Never would have suspected the Rooney thing though, even if he is one of the most professional characters about.
19 October 2010 at 5:58 am #49000Why are we interested in what Rooney does fat shrek prostitute shag222 tool!!!! just a scummy little fat ugly scouser who will soon just go away not fit to even be in the England team what role model is he to youngsters!!!!!
19 October 2010 at 11:44 am #49005Looks like he might leave on a Webster for £5m….
19 October 2010 at 1:04 pm #49006Have we used up our loan qota for the season??
A loan move to Wigan might just be the thing he needs to sort his head out.Rooney to us, De Ridder to them with a view to a permanent swap deal.
19 October 2010 at 7:41 pm #49018Looks like he might leave on a Webster for £5m….Just read about that on Yahoo, at the end it says he forced a move to Stoke. Winds me up when people dont do a simple bit of research into a story, and to think they get paid for it.
Not as bad as when SSN called Accrington the Merseysiders.
22 October 2010 at 4:03 am #49118Me,being an owd cynic thinks its all a load of crap and ill believe it when he actually goes. Before this Rooney story broke the only topic in all the papers and on tv had been Liverpool for weeks on end. Now we all know Utd believe they are the only club on the planet and it must have been hell to think Liverpool were getting blanket coverage so my theory is this Rooney thing is yet another Man U propaganda ruse. Dont be surprised if Fergy and Shrek kiss and make up and they announce their refound undying love for each other. I may be totally wrong and he may never play for them again but we will see.

22 October 2010 at 2:15 pm #49125Come 20th November, we might actually have a chance. They aren’t playing well, and the person who usually pops up to score against us wants away.
I’m going there with a genuine sense of ‘We can get something today’.
Mind you,it’ll probably all be settled by then, and the Scouse one will probably score a hat-trick, and the Cheshire set will again be chanting “Roon-iie Roon-iie!!” again, and buying their megastore goods in abundance.
Let’s hope not, because I’d love us to go there and get something. They’re the only one of the big four that we’ve never got anything off.
22 October 2010 at 3:40 pm #49133He’s just signed a 5 year contract

…given the new 5 year contract news, I’m thinking the latter is most likely. :(
