a tad get real, things are going more than down hill. The football is sunday league at best and the players look like strangers out for a sunday walk.
6 November 2014 at 11:30 am #135008Oi and Bob16…
“The worst you have seen in 20 years” and “Sunday league at best”???
What patently, incorrect nonsense. And people wonder why some posts get rippied to shreds.
If you want to rip your season ticket up Oi, go ahead – do us all a favour. You’re probablyt one of those childish tits who boos at half-time if we’re not 5-0 up.
6 November 2014 at 12:51 pm #135012You’ve been watching Latics 20 years and you reckon you’ve seen ups and downs? Believe me. you really haven’t seen downs.
7 November 2014 at 12:59 am #135040The last time the football was as boring as this was when John Benson was in charge and we went 40 of games unbeaten…. Mainly due to draws.
Gruff you must be ever the optimist. Please don’t put words in my mouth or miss quote me. I have said I would gladly get my money back from my season ticket or put it on hold…
You must like paying to watch sh1t football. 1 win in last 11 games. Bet you like sitting in traffic jams and licking windows. And otter its not the fact I can’t stand losing its the manner of the losses. Name me another manager that has changed our team on a weekly basis as much as this mon
7 November 2014 at 2:36 am #135044IMO there have been quite a number of exciting games that I have seen this season. The 0-0 draw with Forrest being one of the best, quality wise from both teams I have seen for a few seasons, even with the fact that it was scoreless.
I agree with most people on here that Rosler is making too many changes and needs some stability and partnership gels, across the starting 11.
Worst team? boring? makes you want to rip your season ticket up? booing? biggest downer?
Whilst I’m very frustrated, I personally don’t think it’s that bad…………yet! :woohoo:
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!7 November 2014 at 2:37 am #135045Most boring? Those years under Martinez where a yawn a minute!
7 November 2014 at 11:10 am #135046We have to tough it out !!!
It wasn’t a bad game last Saturday and the home game with Birmingham was excellentl as well as a little unbeaten spell which gives hope for the future.
In seasons like these the window will be where all the sorting out gets done and the results will improve in the second half of the season as they did last year so we have to give him at least one season to sort the squad out.
As I have said before sacking the manager is a very bad thing to do in seasons such as these so we have to stick with it and try to enjoy the ups and downs as they come and not sulk when we get beat.
Stop moaning and get on with it , times like these are what a being a true football supporter is all about ,ups and downs and mid way results – GROW SOME!!!!7 November 2014 at 12:03 pm #135049Most boring? Those years under Martinez where a yawn a minute!Only in your questionable opinion

No, I’m just a realistic, non-miserable, non-moaning bastard.
As JR says, it’s nowhere as bad as people are making out. It’s not good, granted, but as uusal, deluded Wiganers who think 8 years in the Premier League should be the norm and their God-given right spit their dummies and stamp their feet and demand 5-0 victories every week. If you hate it that much, just stop going – you won’t be missed.
Oh, and if “Gruff” wasn’t a simple, typo – grow up!

And there’s the crux of the matter.I doubt anyone on this forum likes watching sh1t football. But there are many of us who like watching Wigan Athletic – whether they be good or bad, and even a whole season of poor performances wouldn’t make us throw our season tickets in.
7 November 2014 at 2:18 pm #135052So back to the thread topic should Rosler be out? I personally think he should be given to the end of the month, so that gives him 3 games to sort it starting tonight! Back to what Jonny said….I never miss a home game but I wouldn’t go as far as saying that I actually like watching them when they are absolutely dire! The thing is you turn up not knowing what is going to happen and that is the lure! I never missed a game when Bobby took us on that superb home run of no wins in something like 6 months! The thing is, some fans WILL vote with their feet and that is evident at the moment!
7 November 2014 at 3:43 pm #135078No Sir. In my opinion Sir. Ok there were a few shining lights in the darkness of the Bobby reign. The times he didn’t play the trademark own half tippy tappy bilge.

He was.
And, yet again, his very grown-up “tippy-tappy bilge” comment is just his opinion.
Note that I am allowing him to have his opinion. Just not agreeing it with it. Ever. Which is my right, and does not constitute bullying or me using this forum as my own personal playground
