7 December 2013 at 3:53 pm #124490Rosler will watch Saturday’s match at Millwall from the stands, before officially starting work on Sunday.
7 December 2013 at 4:38 pm #124492Well done Mr Whelan.!!….a great appointment and hopefully a successful one.Much more palatable to me than the usual merry go round managers .
7 December 2013 at 4:52 pm #124494and is wafc new manager, lets get behind him and support him ;)I have always supported our Managers and given them the benefit of the doubt; yes, even Mr Coyle. No doubt some of our supporters will find reason to moan from the off !
7 December 2013 at 4:55 pm #124495Very pleased at his appointment. Suspect there’ll be some Brentford fans thinking it’s a sideways move at best, but as someone said on another thread – much better a manager on the way up than one going the other way. Anyhow, in anticipation of us potentially losing at least one game over the next few seasons he’s hopefully here, may I be the first to say “Rosler Out”.

7 December 2013 at 9:04 pm #124506Rosler will watch Saturday’s match at Millwall from the stands, before officially starting work on Sunday. We could of done with him ont pitch’He would’nt have done any worse in front of goal. ;)
7 December 2013 at 9:18 pm #124507Hard work starts from tomorrow
7 December 2013 at 9:24 pm #124508It will be hard work too,We got afew deadlegs or deadwood what want putting through their paces thats for sure. ;)
7 December 2013 at 9:47 pm #124509If we are to reach the play-offs, realistically we would have to win more than half of our remaining 28 games, it’s possible but we need to put a decent run together anon !
7 December 2013 at 9:49 pm #124511deadlegs or deadwood
i have a few deadbaits in the freezer.
is that the same thing?

7 December 2013 at 10:00 pm #124513Part of me disappointed to lose but part happy that Rosler sees 1st hand what an absolute mess this squad is .Coyles saturation transfer policy means we have quantity and little quality. Wev’e heard it before but come the window we somehow have to offload some of the dross that the previous manager brought in .Might be best to ride rest of season out and do the clean up in the summer as mid table looks our best finishing position.God luck Uwe ,get yourself some waders and a big shovel !!
7 December 2013 at 10:17 pm #124516We’ve got a reasonable squad with some very good players. It should be a superior Championship squad.
We want Rosler to provide the framework for them to work together and take advantage of their skills.
It’s not too late to make an impression on the Championship – and it’s the draw for the Third Round tomorrow.
8 December 2013 at 12:50 am #124526And we are not out of Europe yet !
Thursday night is far from academic. Uwe’s first game and the players should be pumped up, so you never know !
Bet we draw Everton in the cup; just got that feeling.
8 December 2013 at 1:51 am #124527Totally agree Barnsley and Lostock.
The one good thing Coyle did was swiftly rebuild a severely depleted squad – the majority of whom, with the right structure, are good enough to get us out of this division.
And I’m excited that Thursday night is going to be a belter rather than a meaningless friendly. So pleased we got the extra tickets and are taking a decent crowd for Uwe’s first game in charge. Could make himself an instant legend if he bags us a win and we get through thanks to Rubin.
Ironic too – when Maribor came Wigan it was their manager’s first game too. -
