In the post office in Clitheroe?
Did you go in the booze shop across the road? It’s brilliant.26 April 2018 at 9:29 pm #168552In the post office in Clitheroe?

I do like my malt whisky so I have visited that shop many times. Also, Booths in Clitheroe has a good selection of whisky, sometimes discounted to a price I cannot ignore. Another advantage of shopping in Booths is that it is a pensioner’s paradise so makes me feel young…!

And Booths is one of the places I’ve got Jaipur beer.26 April 2018 at 10:42 pm #168556Not really.
Unlucky living in Clitheroe, lol. I’m joking. I’m heading to Blackburn tomorrow, going looking at a car to buy.
When you moved, did you sell your programme collection, or have you still got them. You did used to live Standish didn’t you? I bought a programme off you once on ebay, Newcastle from 1954. I sold it on later, to Colin Boughey. Big Latics supporter of many years.
Clitheroe is a nice place to live, that’s why I moved there. However, it is infested with Blackburn supporters, some of whom I am friends with.
I think you’ve got me mixed me up with someone else Dave. I’ve never lived in Standish and never owned a programme collection of any significance. If I had the Newcastle programme from 1954 I doubt I would have sold it.[/quote]
Fair enough. I bought the 54 prob off a bloke who’s profile was called Sammy, that’s all.
I was only really having a joke about Blackburn, though I’ve been today when it is indeed, a shithole. Clitheroe is okay though. No offence meant.

I only buy when they’re on offer.
£22 for a bottle of Glenallachie is a no-brainier. -
