Oh I can top that. You see my 3rd son isnt due to be born for another ten years & he’s already been stabbed multiple times in the chest in the playground by the Warriors mob for wearing a Wigan Athletic bobble hat.Not only that but my nanna whos 97 was having a cup of cocoa the other night in her flat in Scholes when 10 rugby fans wearing ” Super League Champions 2010 ” balaclavas burst in through her ground floor window & smashed her cup to smithereens & then rubbed her half eaten choccy digestive in her face purely because it happened to be a Wigan Athletic mug….
Im sure portraying themselves as some kind of victim as they have done makes them all feel better about themselves, but they are liars & bullies & always have been.
Ah lets all pity the poor downtrodden rugby fans cos a few Latics ” cretins ” called them names,Wigan Athletic have,to my knowledge never actually tried to wipe Wigan Rugby out of existence. Had this been the case i could fully understand there ire towards the football club in the town. All they can recollect is recent incidents & prior to that we didn’t exist. We did exist & still do-despite their many efforts over several decades to wipe us into oblivion.Maybe if they had got behind the football club in the town instead of trying to kill it off, brainwashed by Maurice these supposed cross words that all Latics fans are supposed to have said may not have happened.
To be honest the whole Latics/Warrior rivalry/hatred is very much a chicken & the egg situation
If you ask a latics fan its the Warriors supporters/club who started it & vice versa. Any evidence which contradicts whichever side of the fence you’re on is batted back with a “yeah but that was only coz of what we’ve had to put up with over the years”
Truth is that both sets of fans are capable of being complete prats – take the posters on that RL fans forum acusing those on here of being brain dead, immature morons & failing to see the irony within their own post!!!! Similarly the poster who says “I know they are not all like that so I don’t like to generalise but 90% of them are …”!!!
I also have to take issue with the Crewe Alex supporting Warrior who hates us due to the games against us over the years coz Latics were dirty & even kicked one of their players in the face once. He/She must be forgetting that when Efe Sodje kicked Lee McCulloch in the chest/neck that Sodje was playing for Crewe & McCulloch for Latics!!
Moans that they had to move games coz of Latics conveniently forget Latics moving games for RL (domestic & international) in the earlier days at the JJB
Likewise Latics retorts of being big, fat, smelly, trolls tends to get a bit monotonous after a while (although the song always brings a smirk to my face however childish it might be). And Latics fans who randomly verbally abuse Wariors fans in the street & no better than the prats who, when i started watching Latics in the late 80’s, felt obliged to come up to me on buses, in shops & in the street to ask me why I was going watching Latics “they’re $h!te. Football is a p00f’s game. Watch a real mons sport”
Since our dear brothers had a crowd in excess of 20k which was back in April 2010 weve managed 4 20K+ crowds and another one guaranteed next week V Stains. And when you think of the promotions Latics have had on tickets for home fans such as 3 for £30, 2 for £20, bring a mate for a fiver and the infamous ‘big ticket’ giveaways, then take into account the huge away crowds that come to the DW..well ermm….
Now not wanting to be a bit of a snoop and I’m sure a eggie will put me right but didn’t the worriers give away six free tickets with every season ticket sold and a whole stand against the quins ,£26 for a kids season ticket the list goes on and on and on :D

I believe you’re referring to the ‘Scrum’ ticket offer which allows the ticket holder to bring 6 guests who only have to pay £5 each for their tickets.
For the Harlequins game the stand is sold to Heinz, who are then free to do whatever they like with the tickets they receive. They may give some tickets away although I’m pretty sure last time they sold them at about £3 per ticket.
Both clubs have special offers to try to attract fans. I don’t think either Latics or Warriors actually give away tickets (at least not in bulk or on a large enough scale to alter attendances). The argument over who has the most fans comes up all the time. Wigan rugby has over 10,000 season ticket holders and I’m pretty sure Latics have the same or similar.
