Hope to god thats all they are ….club has been approached by 3 clubs regarding Powell. Wigan willing to accept offers in the region of 1.5 million.Got to be taking the piss….Norwich with their recent sale of Pritchard and an 11 mill war chest have allegedly offered double that to Blackburn for Dack and been categorically told not for sale .Probably way off the mark but that should it happen will be an absolute disgrace…..hate this January window…let’s see if we keep our key payers !!
Well under the old system we could lose them at anytime of the season.
Player scores a few goals in August and September and he’s gone in October.
I wouldn’t call it “dumb”, but as we all know, now we don’t have the parachute payments, don’t have big crowds etc, then we need to accept that 1.5M may not seem a big figure to us fans, but to the club it is. Players will come and go, this is just part of football, and the clubs future must always come first. Of course he is worth more than that, but it is an offer the club would seriously have to consider.
Nick Powell has told his close friends he wants to stay if takeover goes through. The club must keep all our top lads and add if necessary. Blackburn look like they are really going all out and have made some quality signings we must try to compete with them or we could easily miss out on promotion. C,Mon you tics
Looks like we have missed out on Mellor close to signing for Bradford.He’s a fool then, and obviously lacks ambition and faith in himself. Best off without, if that’s the case.
