Rovers: Four away – Gillingham, Bristol Rovers, Doncaster, Charlton
Two home – Peterborough, Oxford UnitedShrews: Two away – Bradford, Blackpool
Four Home – Charlton, Bury, Peterborough, MK DonsWho do you think has the toughest set of fixtures and home many points will they collect ?
8 April 2018 at 1:06 pm #168052Blackburn’s run in is slightly harder as they have more away than home games. Both of those should win at least 4 of those games.
8 April 2018 at 1:09 pm #168053They way the season is going Lostock I’m taking it that The Shrews will win 6 out of 6 ending with 99 points, now with our superior goal difference that means we need 5 wins and a draw to match their 99 points out of our remaining 7 games allowing us 1 slip up now if they lose 1 obviously we then only need 4 wins etc etc now that all means Blackburn require 14 points from 6 games to match Shrewsburys 99 points .I think Rovers have the difficult games but ours and theirs goal difference beening far superior it’s all about what Shrewsbury can do out of their final 6 games .
Bloody got that for a Sunday morning from myself.8 April 2018 at 1:40 pm #168054Its squeaky bum time.
8 April 2018 at 2:45 pm #168058Shouldn’t really be worrying about other teams fixtures, all our remaining games are winnable, it’s up to us to do it, it’s in our own hands.

Win them, and we’re champions. It’s completely in our own hands. Other fixtures are only relevant if we mess it up.8 April 2018 at 5:02 pm #168065Blackburn board is full of East Lancashire hillbillies trying to work out the connotations of our games to play as well.
Theyre more worried about us, than we are them, that’s for sure. I’ve never really had anything against them, but I’ve changed opinion. Horrible shit houses.

Course they are. Been pulling their dads plums for weeks about being top when really it has been a false position due to all the games in hand. They have been seeing their arse since they blew it against us.
9 April 2018 at 1:44 pm #168102I predict that Steve Evans Peterborough side will play a part in deciding the Champions. They’re good at snatching draws, I can see them being awkward to play for these two.
And Shrewsbury going to Blackpool, I can see the Seasiders doing something there as well.

Peterborough had 2 games sent off on Saturday though so they may be effected by suspension over the next few games
9 April 2018 at 6:59 pm #168109Psychologically, tomorrow is massive. Opening up a 5 point lead on Shrewsbury with 6 games to play would be significant.
The players and the fans should be approaching this like a cup final.
9 April 2018 at 7:01 pm #168110Thursday will be quite telling, in how Shrewsbury are mentally. Theyre away at Bradford. You’d expect them to get a win there, but let’s see if Sundays disappointment has any effect on them.
Just hope we win tomorrow and put the pressure on them all the more, and then with two home games coming up in the next week, we would be in a great position.
13 April 2018 at 1:22 pm #168206Maximum points total for the Shrews now after last night’s draw is 97 points for us to match that we need 11 more points out of our remaining 6 games, theirs light at the end of the tunnel guys but theirs still a lot to do though. This season has been a right marathon with 3 good sides battling it out.
13 April 2018 at 2:32 pm #168210The idea that someone could possibly get 97 points and not get promoted!!
16 April 2018 at 3:04 pm #168267Tomorrow night is massive. Beat Oxford and Charlton get a result against Shrewsbury and it could all but be complete.
Wigan 42 90
Blackburn 42 87
Shrews 42 82 (loss) 83 (draw)7 or 8 clear with 4 to play could mean we are promoted at Fleetwood but if not then definitely Bristol, and the GD factor would mean that we would only need 8 points from 12 to be Champions.
