excuse you I don’t actually play football manager. tell me what’s so wrong with that team? or am i wrong in thinking the current team and formation are banging out the results…it’s time to wake up and change things up, and martinez isn’t doing that. fair enough you stick with the same thing after maybe 3-5 losses but after that you need to realise there is a problem and there has to be change…change hasn’t happened, and we blew our chances on the lesser teams by handing them soft wins.

I’ll always get behind my team, but I do realise things have to change if we want any chance of survival and I just offered my solution to the problem, so make all your misinformed “football manager” smart remarks all ya want. At the end of the day we are bottom of the league, with a tough run of matches up to christmas that we will be lucky to get anything from, even the blackburn game. The difference between us and blackburn is, is that they can score even when losing…we cant! And even if your a martinez lover or not…he ultimately, must take responsibility for poor tactics, formation, substitutions and handling with losses and motivation. Wigan athletic need a leader, someone with a tough love attitude, not this “extremely proud” and “we can take a lot from our performance” shite week in and week out even losing. He has to start telling it like it is cause his approach has lost the players confidence and motivation. Bit harder critically on the team making silly mistakes is needed.

Richcrx I think you are speaking for 99.9% of Latics fans. Enough is enough. Blackburn were really unlucky to lose on Saturday. Can’t see us getting anything but 1 point from the next game against them. The whole set up at the club from top to bottom is, to say the least, very naive at this level. :(

OK, silly me. You’ve convicned me. Your genius knows no bounds. Please take yourself down to the stadium now and offer your management services to the club.

Don’t forget to take your bulky CV and all your coaching badges with you, though it sounds like you won’t need them.

You’re speaking for a majority (nowhere near 99.9% though) of people who make posts on this board. That’s not the same as 99.9% of fans.

A situation that often confuses posters.

It is a widely-held belief that we have around 12000 regular fans. I’m quite sure there are at least 120 (0.01%) knocking about who don’t subscribe to your view, so 99.9% is indeed inaccurate. It’s probably closer to 99.4% ;)

But speaking to one of their fans at work, they have no faith in their own manager, cant see where a win will come from and can see us beating them 4-0. Samba is out injured so they have no faith.

It will be all about the first 20 minutes against Blackburn, we need to score early.

        Sorry, Griff. 120 out of 12,000 is 1% ;)

Quite right, maffs never was my strong point. So, to re-cap, we only actually need 12 to explode the myth. I can muster that many on my own, quite easily.

I think that the anti Kean contingent who will be very vocal at the DW will in fact rub off on the many disgruntled Latics fans, so expect some flak if we don’t do the business ! Its going to be a very strange scenario that’s for sure !
