I think we should just forget games like these as we’re never going to win at OT really are we. Games like these are really not worth arguing over, or even attending as it is obvious that we’re going to lose. I don’t care who the manager is, or what formation we play. Whatever team United put out will be better than ours, and will 99 times out of 100 win. And we just have to live with that, and not blast the manager saying that we demand a win because we’re Wigan. Teams like us don’t go to OT and win, not even the likes of Liverpool win at OT.
I seem to remember Sunderland going to Old Trafford with a game plan and hanging on till Evra broke their hearts in injury time ! They also sold all their tickets ! It is only when you resign yourself to defeat beforehand that you will get beat. I doubt there is any other side who have shipped as many goals against Utd in the same amount of games as we have ! In fact I would bet on it that we are the easiest opposition on the whole that has graced Old Trafford !
