Next home game I will throw my season ticket at Whelan and I hope he chokes on it, he aint taking the ++++ out me anymore. A premiership club run more like a non league club. Transfer deadline and despite being so painfully obvious the signings we need, we dont just not get any we let two go.
Close on £50million in players sold and we end up with Rodallega up front with King and Scotland for cover.
And the stupid old clown wonders why attendances are dwindling, well it dwindles one more after the next home match. Don’t throw it, go and ask for a refund.
That’s what I’m thinking od doing. Yes, ok, I may, or may not. But in all honesty, I don’t think I’ve ever felt more like doing, in my time as a fan.
Over the top? To some people it will be. But we are all entitled to our own opinion.
I’m just fed up. Really. I do think we’ve all been duped into renewing, thinking we’d re-invest the Valencia money, etc. But in no way, has that happened.
I would implore people NOT to go throwing their season tickets at anybody. Especially NOT Roberto Martinez. He’s got his hands tied. And you won’t get near enough to Whelan. He’s not daft. He was quick enough to cancel his book signing. His people obviously ‘know the score’ with people not being happy.Don’t throw it, go and ask for a refund.That’s what I’m thinking od doing. I couldn’t care less if we got relegated tomorrow I would be back week after week because as the previous fella said it’s my team.
Yeah everyones entitled to their own opinions Dave and ive got some opinions of you from the last week.
But the question is this how can you call yourself a fan or supporter if you dont stick with the club through the good times and bad!
To be honest im just saying what I feel like doing, ive watched Wigan since 74 and even though I may want to, I would never be able to leave. I cant remember being so dissapointed, all the money received for our best players and were left in the lurch. What I could never do is turn my back on Latics, but what I can do is make Whelan aware im unhappy at being conned, lied to and the lack of investment. If the chanting for Whelans head does ever start, you will spot me straight away because I will be the loudest. ;)

My mate asked for a refund after the Cattermole fiasco but no joy ! He bombarded various people at the club via e mail and eventually due to his persistence he got a telephone call off Brenda Spencer. She told him that it was not in the clubs policy to refund money for season tickets ! He mentioned as he had in all his e mails that he felt he had been hoodwinked into renewing his season ticket because Whelan had blatantly lied about the Cattermole business. He also mentioned that he thought Whelan didnt care about the club or its fans just his own bank balance ( Not the only one there ! ). She replied ” It is not in the clubs policy blah blah blah ” (Whelan must have pulled the cord on her side again !)
