If that young right back had not scored 2 goals on his debut Morsy would have got my MOM vote. The difference he makes in the middle of the park is unbelievable. We surely should give him better terms than Barnsley, come on DS and JJ!
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!14 January 2017 at 11:13 pm #154129In this world of football and money surely that could be arranged.
14 January 2017 at 11:38 pm #154130I’m guessing this 300K trigger can’t last forever. Surely it’s time limited
14 January 2017 at 11:49 pm #154131Its all down to morsy he is in no rush quite happy to sit and wait see if barnsley up his wages with a couple of weeks still to go he holds the the key to whatever he decides
Our club cant do anything after that ridiculous clause some numpty put in to the contract
I still think he will get a good offer from barnsley and leave15 January 2017 at 12:27 am #154139Surely whoever agreed to that ridiculous contract had a good reason.
Should only apply if they took it up whilst he was playing for them and should have been written in that if the offer wasn’t taken up then, then it wouldn’t apply.
A totally ridiculous contract but there was a hell of a lot went on last summer that we don’t know about at all.15 January 2017 at 1:07 am #154140He will go on Jan 30th
15 January 2017 at 1:27 am #154142He’s gone, we need to up his salary, comes down to money simple as that, I believe Joyce has had a whisper in his ear but to keep him Sharpie has to give him a rolls Royce and more,do we want to be held to ransom or show ambition it’s a fine balance.
15 January 2017 at 2:46 am #154148Need to keep hold of him

A totally ridiculous contract but there was a hell of a lot went on last summer that we don’t know about at all.The clause could only be activated at the expiry of the loan period, which was supposed to be the end of the season. We recalled him, and probably put Barnsley on the back foot, as they expected to only have to make the “to buy or not” call in May.
I would imagine Barnsley are looking at their own squad to see if they have a ready made replacement, and also casting their net further afield to see if there’s a better option available before finalising terms with Morsy. So far, they’ve won one drew one (cup) and lost one without him.
15 January 2017 at 4:36 pm #154155Should never have been loaned out in the first place! Another of Caldwell’s fuck ups that ultimately saw him being shown the door!
15 January 2017 at 5:28 pm #154157Should never have been loaned out in the first place! Another of Caldwell’s fuck ups that ultimately saw him being shown the door!Shown the door by someone above him who sanctioned such a stupid contract. Hope there is a sell on clause for if he ever makes it bigger.
15 January 2017 at 9:30 pm #154160Since he has came back played twice and we have won twice!
16 January 2017 at 12:13 am #154163Joyce has certainly made a couple of match winning decisions in the last 2 games, Morsey straight in against Forest and Connelly yesterday. Keep it going Yootha owd lad.
