It is refreshing to sign players and put them straight in the team, rather than what we have become used to – “they’ll need to get up to speed, fitness levels, get to know the others etc”.

If you’ve signed them then they should be ready to step up to the plate.Its a pity Yootha didnt have the same train of thought with Grigg, the minute he arrived he dropped Will because he “hadnt seen enough of him in training” unbelievable.

Article in todays Sun says Barnsleys high earners get 5000 a week. I cannot see Morsey being classed as one of their top players so will probably be offered less than that. I would have thought that he would have been on at least that here so maybe him going is not cut and dried.

Hang on a sec, he was quite happy to sign for us on the wages he’s getting if not, he should have signed for a club who were willing to pay him more.

If you did, then I cannot really disclose, but he will be staying, it’s basically done with already. Unless the unimaginable (Money related) was to happen for ‘another club’ then he will remain.
