      According to the media,roque santa cruz wants to stay in the north west,this fella was unplayable a few years ago as we well know,does anyone else think we should take a punt on him ?

            Very good player in his prime (obviously rated by Mark Hughes), would fit in well with our South American contingent BUT likely to be expensive and was VERY injury-prone at City.

            Funds better utilised elsewhere, me thinks

                I think he is worth a stab but only on loan and with an option to get shut in january if he fails to do the business.
                We have tried these journeymen types before though havent we ?

                Mido and Bent spring to mind.
