Chorley v Stocksbridge Park Steeles at Victory Park
kick off 3pm
Chorley currently third from top of the NPL (in old money) this will no doubt be a good game, with all the old traditions (as we remember well) of non – league football
Chorley FC are proud of the fact that they are the 32nd best-supported non-league club in the country, with a league game average attendance of over 800 for this season so far.
oh – and if you are a Latics season ticket holder entrance is only £4 with concession (as it is for Blackburn, Bolton S/T holders as well) also children are allowed free entry when accompanying an adultChorley are the only non league club in the country not to have a sponsors logo on their shirts – in fact the club display ‘Derian House’ on their shirts as it is their designated charity. On Saturday it is Derian House day as well with activities planned throughout the afternoon.
The supporters club will be open for a beer before the name and after for the England match as well
Thank you

12 November 2011 at 4:39 am #74224Thought Chorley hated us men  Non league days they def did ,i only went to a few as a kid but def hated Wigan . Played them as a league club in the late 80s or early 90s in a friendly at Victory park , not much of a friendly as i remember  . So now they want a love in with Wigan and anyone else who will give them a few quid . Dont think so !
How about supporting a local Non league side with a few Wigan lads and ex latics mon playing. Wigan Robin Park v Daisey hill a local derby and only £5 to get in 3 pm Saturday :)12 November 2011 at 1:48 pm #74227Morning BrS
What you are referring to was over 20 years ago – most have grown up a little, matured and are older and wiser now
Ex Latics man Russ Saunders in nets for Chorley
12 November 2011 at 2:22 pm #74228Doesn’t matter how long ago it was, Latics fans carry extremely feeble grudges. Look how they react every time the rugby play. Just because of one little gay man in the 80’s.

Also, “they” instead of some of us.
Always had my doubts bout you yoshi ;) ;)

I bet I speak for nearly all the fans who watched um non league and scramble up the lower divisions.
Just like yesterday “we shall never forget” B)

ok well said hb mate ok?
13 November 2011 at 1:38 am #74272Went to Chorley today – they dominated the game, struck the woodwork 3 times and made enough chances to win 4 other matches.
Then nearly got beat by being sloppy at the back.
Sound familiar ?
Really liked the shuffle from behind one goal to the other at HT. Reminded me of the old days at Springfield Park.
870 on, and leaving in the dark down a side street.
Going to have to be careful before I get stuck in 1981.
Definitely be going back, and all for £4.
