Why 5-30? Anyone know why? Was presuming the TV dictators but checking up no games are scheduled for 5-30 this Saturday. It’s all very strange.
1 May 2018 at 11:49 pm #168741Can’t show 3pm Saturday games in UK. So early or late kick-off’s.

At a guess either us or Northampton/Oldham. They will be waiting for Scunny result tonight before they decide.
2 May 2018 at 12:39 am #168749Some bullshit about making fans go out and watch a game, if theirs a game on at 3 pm on tv fans might be tempted to watch that game sat in there front room with a beer in hand and remote in the other, instead of watching their own club as i said what utter bollocks.

That said, I will hopefully be watching it in some local hostelry with a beer in my hand.2 May 2018 at 1:50 am #168755According to sky there are two channels showing league one football on saturday. Sky sports football and sky sports main event. Unless both channels show same game.
2 May 2018 at 1:53 am #168756That’s if they have it on in a pub. Probably more likely some overlayed Spanish shite.
Anyway thanks for the reply. At least now I know. An entire leagues fixtures moved for one televised match.2 May 2018 at 10:51 am #168766That’s if they have it on in a pub. Probably more likely some overlayed Spanish shite.
Anyway thanks for the reply. At least now I know. An entire leagues fixtures moved for one televised match. As it is the last day all games kick off at the same time as they have for years.
There will be a few games on via the red button etc.

2 May 2018 at 2:42 pm #168771Northern rail will be chuffed bits with the 5.30 kick off when there’s a couple of hundred pissed up Wiganers trying to get on the last rail replacement bus service from Piccidilly.

I’ve spoken to someone at National Rail Enquiries and they have confirmed that those 2 services will be running in between all the bus replacements that evening.
2 May 2018 at 4:45 pm #168773Rochdale v Charlton is the televised game!
