Which makes the “official” attendance of over 19,000 an even bigger lie.
The club must count those unavailable seats at each end of the Boston Stand in their attendance, in addition to the ST holders and freebies that didnt bother due to the weather.

EVERY club counts the season ticket holders whether they turn up or not.
Wigan rugby have announced a crowd of 25,004 (the former capacity) when there have been 1000 empty seats due to safety regs. Every available seat was sold though so they announced a capacity crowd. Fact is there were only 24000 on max.
