am i right in thinking, saturdays game is live on sky, due to the 12 45 kick off. and also wigan rugby are in the final at old trafford on the same day.
i fear that the attendance on saturday could b below the 10,000 mark. i have just been on the website and there is no offers on for tickets, its £20 to get in.
i know alot of people who have got both football and rugby season tickets and think a majority will b going to old trafford.
and before u start going off on one yes i know attendance dont make u points, i really could’nt careless about the attendence i am just getting a point across.
got a good feeling about saturday, just hope he plays 2 up front.
26 September 2010 at 9:54 pm #47428if their is below 10,000 i will show my backside at the top of wigan i think 14,000 – 15,000 about 3,500 from wolves.

27 September 2010 at 12:15 am #47443Most Wiganers will be watching both on telly next Saturday.
27 September 2010 at 8:50 pm #47495Where`s my response gone?
And is the word dildo banned now ffs?
28 September 2010 at 12:24 am #47519Never mind guessing the attendance, i think we should have a game of ‘Guess how many sidewaays passes we will make’
Considering Roberto bleats on about his Swansea averaging 550 passes per game or whatever it was, I reckon about 400. What do you think?28 September 2010 at 12:01 pm #47536This is a a Sky conspiracy to make Latics attendance look worse than it really is….The Wolves game was originally scheduled for Monday night, but when there was a chance of the Worriers getting to the final, lo and behold, it got changed to the Saturday early kick off………..
I counted over 25 passes in the first half against NobEnd, at one point, and we hadn’t crossed the half way line
Over 450 on Saturday !!!!28 September 2010 at 2:23 pm #47542This has to be THE WORST THREAD ever seen on here. Possibly on ANY Latics site.
Honestly, do you really think the rugby being played about 4 hours after the rugby will be a factor in our attendance? What a load of rubbish.
The only thing it does is give lazy, half-ar*ed Wiganers half an excuse not to go to Latics. Whelan was RIGHT. Wiganers don’t deserve a Premiership club. Anybody who does not go against Wolves and cites the rugby as an excuse, clearly is NOT a Latics fan. If someone says “oh, but I watch both…and I’m going the final”. Ok. You’ve made your bed…..f*ckin stay there! Don’t come back to Latics. No excuses.
And this site? Deary me, it’s gone right down the pan. I had to look twice to see if it was toddler.
28 September 2010 at 3:27 pm #47544To be fair dave, if I was a supporter of both clubs & due to finances, grief from the wife or whatever had to make a choice between the 2 games then I would choose to go to the Grand Final so i won’t knock anyone who makes that decision or tell em not to come back
That said, i don’t think the rugby game will make much difference to the attendance which will be low anyway due to it being on the telly & the dreary standard of footbal that (IMO) Bobby’s team produces
Oh & come on Saints – as my adopted home town team!!
28 September 2010 at 6:50 pm #47555More Latics fans probably follow St Helens than our lodgers, so if the attendance is down it will be because Saints are in the Final.
28 September 2010 at 7:43 pm #47562I counted over 25 passes in the first half against NobEnd, at one point, and we hadn’t crossed the half way line
Over 450 on Saturday !!!!does anybody think latics players/staff have bet on like those pakistan cricketers :-
25 sideways without crossing half way, then no 26 straight in touch 100/1

I am going to the Grand Final because i am a Wigan fan, i am one of few who like both clubs, dont watch the Rugby much these days only when my mate gives me his S/T due to him being on holiday or if the kids bring a good offer home from school for tickets.
And i will be watching Latics first in my usual seat in ES3 then its home pick the wife and my eldest lad up fill my rucksack with Stella and head of for the train.
There is no reason at all for anybody to say that they cant go to the football due to the Grand final.
Got a feeling Saturday is going to be a good day. :lol:28 September 2010 at 11:34 pm #47592Anonymous
