IMO it will be the same old same old. Poor choice of team no Moses, poor formation 4-5-1 and I would be surprised by anything other than a poor performance.

After nearly 2 seasons you would have thought that the penny would have dropped we can’t play the system he wants

What size of treble hooks do you use. I use 8s or 10s semi-barbless.

IMO you were wrong in a number of your predictions.

Yes, he was very wrong, as I’m sure he’d admit. But even so, like myself, Hindley wouldn’t be getting carried away, coming out with comments like “we’ll stay up” and that kind of thing, like so many have come out with today.

I’ll openly come out and say, great win. A great, battling, performance. We fully deserved the points. I could be critical and say why haven’t we shown that all season? But I won’t.
But nor will I get carried away by the victory. We’ve a hell of a bad run of games coming up, and I can’t see many points coming our way, at all. We might well go three games now, at least, without picking anything up. And if teams like Birmingham pick up the points, we’ll be done for.

Call me ‘Darkside’, or whatever. That’s not the case. It’s just that I’m looking at the games coming and thinking ‘no chance’.

Dave, as I said in a post a couple of weeks ago, for every rise, there’s a fall.

I hope we stay up, and the win on Saturday is another small step towards that, however I won’t be drawn into saying we will definitely stay up or will definitely go down. It’s something you can’t predict at this stage without risking a substantial amount of egg on the face.

Hindley Blue will not admit he was wrong, in exactly the same way he will not admit if the team play well.

I’ll always give credit where it’s due. If somebody scores a goal against us, and I think it’s a class strike, I’ll openly stand up and applaud it.

Likewise, if we play well, I’ll say so. I’ve been buzzing all day about James McCarthy. What a brilliant young player he is. I loved our performance yesterday, yet in the back of my mind, I think it might not be worth much, given the games coming up.

I still think April will be the crunch month. 14 games left, and 5 of them are in that month. And this after the run we have of the resurgent Liverpool, title favourites United, and title contenders City.

              Hmmmm……

The same Man Utd that lost to Wolves yesterday.
The same Liverpool that has struggled (on their standards) all season, dropped points at Blackpool, Toon, Wolves, Rovers, Stoke and Wigan.
The same man City that has also dropped points against Brum, Toon and Wolves.

Off the top of my head.

FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that

United losing is a rarity, you have to admit that.

Liverpool have got going, under King Kenny. I dreaded they would do, by the time they play us, and they have. Only a few weeks ago I was saying “I fancy something there, this year”. Not now. :(

City will do us, as they did last season. With or without some maverick Serb in goal. They’ve clicked now.

Wrong Standish I will admit when I’m wrong and god I got it wrong big time. Also I thought we played well in parts especially when we moved the ball quickly which was not easy on a terrible pitch.

Thank f**k you’ve come back. I’ve been holding them off all day with nothing but an M1 Carbine and a box of potato mashers…..Coming at me from all angles they were, even dragging out the big guns (Jay) into the attack. Thank god you’ve come back!

I find it funny how the darkside are out in force when we lose and are hard to find when we win!
