After watching this seasons games and reading all the thoughts on formations and squad rotation, I thought I would give my views for what it’s worth.
It would be a kind of 442, but more like 4411 with Fortune doing all the running about that Holt is being expected to do at the moment.
Anyway, here is my favoured line up for Saturday.
1, Nicholls
3, Espinoza
5, Roggne
6, Barnett
2, Boyce
7, Beausejour
8, Powell
4, McCann
9, Holt
10,Fortune

I thought he and McCann played well together last night.

It was a hard one that, but out of McCann and McArthur I feel McCann offered more going forward. Dropping Powell back into midfield might also show a bit more attacking creativity as well has having the battling quality of McAthur.

11,McMannamanThat starting 11 looks a good call to me. Get the fekker printed off and posted in the home changing room.
The lads might report for duty on satdy well before OC turns up, so they will have put their shirts on and be out warming up in the starting 11’s group.

What a journey!1 November 2013 at 12:44 am #123002I think it is fairly apparent now that OC does not favour Espinoza for some reason !

1 November 2013 at 2:15 am #123012Rogne’s injured.Just watched an interview with Owen Coyle on Latics player and he said that Rogne was rested on Wednesday.

What a journey!1 November 2013 at 2:51 am #123014Rested! Coyle needs resting. 6 months rest starting tomorrow.
Lets get back to normality with players playing in position and not changing and swapping every match. We havnt played any more games than our rivals in this league.
Come on Dave rest Coyle now or play him in a different position. Kit man perhaps.1 November 2013 at 3:14 am #123015Rested! Coyle needs resting. 6 months rest starting tomorrow.

Come on Dave rest Coyle now or play him in a different position. Kit man perhaps.Although we have played five extra cup games so technicly we have played more games and still have one game in hand with at least two more games in hand after the Euro group games with another approx 14 to 15 games to play in nine weeks expect more changes per match just a thought that seems to have been forgotten by a few on here not to mention our best creative player sidelined for probably the rest of the season I see were your coming from

9, Holt 10, FortuneThe players should do alright in this formation. But Coyle may well play all the left footed players on the right and vice versa.
Seriously though, you should plan for the long trip to Kazan at the same time. And Albrighton may well start on Saturday too.
