Fair enough – no problem.
But I think he is pressured, maybe as much by himself. We need to get behind him. I, maybe mistakenly, see more in him than say Aghahowa. I really believe, and again I may be wrong, that once he can score one then he will do OK.
OK – maybe never top scorer in Europe – but he will get a few. Enough even. And that will do me.
So, yes, he isn’t reading this board – but somehow, some way, he needs a goal. And we’ll forget the 21-22-23-24 or whatever games without.
I think once he gets his first goal and gets that monkey off his back, we will then see a better player, come on lets have a reality check here, he’s moved from the championship to the premier league, to a club that does not have a proven striker at this level, who would not find that hard?
I think the lad as heart, once the first goal goes in then we’ll see!

He has not scored in 21 games he has played in that includes his last few games for Swansea !!Oh well who would of thowt you going to add Swansea games on :roll: :roll: :roll:
Its a statistic and might I add that Swansea are in a lower standard of league so the statistic doesn’t read too well does it !!

We all know he’s not good enough, but he is the only other recognised striker in the squad. So, until we get someone better in January (hopefully) he is what we’ve got.

Griff you are sooo wrong,
the way forward with a player like scotland who,s confidence is rock bottom is not to nurture him but to belittle and abuse him!
Just ask newcastle about bramble or bolton with megson! ;)
