…can either have a refund on their ST’s, a credit to further ticket purchases for next season or a streaming pass to all remaining fixtures ( see official website)
Fair play to the club, it’s a really good offer.10 June 2020 at 11:41 pm #186460No complaints UTFT.
11 June 2020 at 1:08 am #186462Great idea ,
11 June 2020 at 1:26 pm #186463Because of the circumstances I don’t think the streaming alternative costs the club anything, so I think I’ll plump for that option irrespective of whether I will be able to watch them or not.
11 June 2020 at 2:24 pm #186464I’ve opted for the discount on next seasons season ticket.
11 June 2020 at 3:13 pm #186484I have told them to keep it… might use the Latics TV
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
12 June 2020 at 12:15 am #186493I went for the stream and my sons added to next season
12 June 2020 at 1:18 am #186502Dont forget you cant stream it direct to your TV using chromecast or other SmartTV apps, i read that in the info somewhere, so you can only watch it on a device or your pc or laptop

12 June 2020 at 2:36 am #186504Wigan Athletic opted out (actually had to buy out) of iFollow. They then set up their own TV stream, which costs them but allows them to plug their own stuff rather than the random ads of iFollow.
In short, when the EFL announced (without consulting anyone) that all season ticket holders could watch the games on iFollow, it meant Latics lost a lot of revenue.

In what way? Were they planning to charge ST holders to stream the games?
12 June 2020 at 1:14 pm #186574The cost is covered by the season charge for Latics TV and advertising.
There were several options being planned, but the EFL forced the hand as it were.

SUPPORTERS SHOULD NOTE THAT MATCHES CANNOT BE CHROMECAST/UPLOADED TO A SMART TV. THIS IS DUE TO EFL REGULATIONS. MATCHES CAN ONLY BE VIEWED VIA THE APP ON A PHONE/TABLET OR VIA THE CLUB WEBSITE ON DESKTOP
