29 June 2012 at 7:59 pm #89793can u still buy season tickets after season starts ?You thinking of seeing how the first few games pan out before committing?
29 June 2012 at 8:42 pm #89795good thinking buttttttttttttttt
no im off to spain, will watch first two games over there
when i get back will get one if its possible,
reason i asked.29 June 2012 at 9:57 pm #89796can u still buy season tickets after season starts ?Season tickets are availble well into the season if not all season. They always used to be worked out on a pro-rata basis depending on how many matches have been played, like the half season tickets around xmas time.
29 June 2012 at 10:44 pm #89797Surely if you bought a season ticket after the season had started they would be called something like “part of the season ticket” or “some of the season ticket” or “not quite a season ticket”

What a journey!30 June 2012 at 12:20 am #89803I’d suggest that Bicky has always been a few games short of a full season , so to speak.

30 June 2012 at 4:55 am #89809renewed my ticket yesterday but swapped from east to west stand, can any weststanders tell me what its like particularly atmosphere wise ?The Springfield Stand is a peculiar place. There are a lot of ‘Springfield Parkers’……and ‘Runners’ (too old to do so now). Minds of 20 year olds…… who used to twist, spin and drop on the dance floor – who can only dream, now, of what used to be. Tut tutting (in a loud voice) is accepted, however, stupid, unqualified comments about the past, the players, the manager, DW (himself), Jordi, formation, player selection or knowing better than us is unacceptable. Contrary to popular belief there is a lot of shouting, chanting and swearing (it’s just that the East youth cannot hear it over the drum ;) ).
It is not acceptable to….leave before the end of the game; regardless of the feckin traffic, eat mints without sharing, suck teeth in a loud way, stare at your fellow supporters (they may not know you), clap without gloves on (it may be too loud).
Apart from that….get a place in the ‘comfy seats’ at the top and enjoy the season.

Leaving your seat early for a pint at half time is acceptable, but only if that pint is bitter.30 June 2012 at 5:42 pm #89817cheers for the feedback, should be ok being an old ” springfield parker ” myself. dont really leave before the end but usually make my way down to the exit ( hope this is ok )do leave early before half time for a pint unfortunately lager. iam not in the habit of slagging off my own players, supporters, manager, owner but the language can be quite choice towards visiting players, fans, managers, refs, liners ( except the bird )due the amount of alcahol consumed before games so i appolagise in advance if i offend anyone.
