How come Arsenal are allowed to sell tickets to home fans in the area designated for away fans? It happens every season. Yet we have a separate stand and even have empty rows of seats, as well, between the home and away fans :S I thought that it was an F.A stipulation that the two sets of fans have to be segregated?

The rule is pretty vague, merely stating that you have to segregate the fans using reasonable measures, or words to that effect. It’s open to interpretation. Arsenal will no doubt just have to make sure there is no trouble, and they will not be challenged. I guess it is similar with the Fulham ‘neutral’ area of the away stand. Our problem is with the Police, not the FA.

Maybe the worst possible interpretation of the ruling is applied in Latics case. Well that is obvious.
This is almost certainly a dig at our club by the powers that be on various commitees on Wigan Council whose track record in anti Laticsism reads like a book.
Strange how the biggest thing to put Wigan on the map in the eyes of the world is Wigan Athletic FC. Dont you think by now they should lose this blinkered perception.
          Think before you vote.
