With all the banter between Latics fans and egg fans I just wonder if the egg owners have a clue. Who owns the chuckers anyway? Have they any allegiance to Wigan at all? Would you not think if the football club were such small fry they would not want to get away from us especially with us being their landlords etc. I just think they would want the independance from Latics in their own stadium , if not for anything else but their self respect.
most of the egg fans think the ground is owned by wigan council, and most of the money was put it with the sale of tesco park ,they know nothing, the comments on wigan today site makes me laugh thats where the s h i t e comes from .

He’s a Scholes lad and a lifelong fan. The rugby are skint as are most rugby clubs and there’s no way they’ll get their own place (remember it’s a minority sport and doesn’t get millions from Sky, sponsorship etc.)

Why do they not just find a rich man like we did to build them a nice new stadium independent from us.
Why not do something with St Helens RL, a sort of shared super Rugby League stadium for south west lancashire.
