I’ll pass on the local nectar as being Saturday, I think the village inn hosts a peasant shoot(ing up) and being a townie, I don’t understand country sports.

4 for me and I know of at least 10 others, so we must approaching a whole 200 at least! Going to be a nightmare getting to the bar.

Is it the same crew as last year and are you all heading up Kilburn High Street prior to the match like we did for the Final last year?[/quote]

Tell you what, everyone’s being quite blasé this year and we’ve arranged nout so far! Will let you know tho. Martin’s not going tho is he? Tall Andy’s not either as he’s also on holiday.

Since I rather foolishly started the topic, being without 4 brain cells according to our resident sage…

      +2 tickets in 501

Setting off about 5.30 (if the wife’s up in time :S ) drive to outlying Tube station (aka 11/5/13, 11/8/13, 24/8/13 then heading into the Smoke for a look round and luncheon at a Pizza place

Stopping off on the way back at a Premier Inn just off junction 9 off M1.

      Costs..Don’t ask.

      About £45 in diesel. Hotel is £58. M6 tolls £10. T’Underground £12.50×2. Lunch int smoke £40. Programme £6? Ales at ground £??? Coffes, snackes/meal as well….

      Tickets already cost £100

      Worth every penny…up the Latics.

Plz don’t question my support (Griff)

Semi finals shouldn’t be played at Wembley & certainly not kicking off at 17.00, Villa Park & 15.00 kick off would have suited Wigan fans much better but I suppose I’m stating the obvious .

Before Wembley was used, fans found it hardest to get tickets for the semifinals.

Using Wembley meets the FA’s greed for money, but it is justified if it avoids another Hillsborough. However, Old Trafford does offer a large stadium in the north.

The fans have to meet the cost of travel to the games; the least the FA can do is fix kick off times to suit the fans attending the games.
