That’s true.The only real difference is Aguero’s “double footed stamp” was 100% intentional i.e. he WANTED to hurt Luiz.
I think we can all safely say that McManaman didn’t intend to hurt anyone. It was just a rash, mistimed tackle.
But they have used the same defence for not acting as they did for not acting against Callum. That is, that officials should have/must have seen it.
We can’t complain. It’s not our concern.
I all honesty action should have been taken against Callum. The Ageuro one was shocking too and action should have been taken. Be nice if he’d been banned for 6 weeks for obvious reasons.
The fact that his attempt to insert his entire body into David Luiz’s rectum was completely intentional should play a part, surely?
Couple of Millwall and Newcastle fans did less than that, look where they ended up! A bad tackle is not the same as violent conduct, therefore should be treated differently.
Or maybe I just want him to get banned for obvious reasons..
