Listened to Radio Lancashire on the way home:

3 or 4 Rovers fan ringing into the programme; say stuff like:

That was another shaky game were we only deserved a draw.

Rovers were nervous and only just ground out a win.

    They were dire today.

Not all rosy at the Chicken shack then !

Dack went off injured after 12 mins. Being looked at tomorrow.
Also the Shrewsbury player who still has another match suspension Ogogo has got himself injured in training and could be out for the rest of the season.

And Donald Dack subbed after 12 mins.Like us with Powell, Rovers are a different team without the influential Duck in it.

        From Matlock to ManU
        What a journey!

He is a fowl looking individual. Let’s hope that’s Rovers Goosed.

Still won and that’s the sign of a good team. This time next week we should know our chances of going up more clearly. Massive 2 games for us lads. COYL

Rochdale are a decent side and gave us a good game at home and in Keith Hill a great manager.

Doesn’t matter how shaky – they won.
We still need to keep up our game.
              We start against Rochdale 0-0.

              #168047

When we played Rochdale they tried to play football without kicking Powell and Morsey off the park; so if they adopt that same approach I think it will suit us more than if a team turn it into a physical battle. Rovers have to go to Gillingham on the same night; I’m predicting 0-0 for their game. Never easy at the Priestfield.

Even Danny Graham is blessing the luck they had today !

Powell and morsy didn’t play against Rochdale at home but yes they did try to play football rather than kick us

Just had a quick look at their board… Talk about panicking and obsessed with us and Shrewsbury.

I am also sensing a delusion of grandeur from them as well. They seem to think theyre a cut above.

They are also of the opinion that MK Don’s gifted us the win and 5 goals. I just hope we win on Tuesday and then the next 2 home games, let’s really get their sphincters flapping. Horrible inbred hillbillies, aren’t they?

                    #168064

                    Yep.
MK Dons, who are fighting against relegation clearly wanted no points and a worsening of their goal difference by four goals, just so we could get one over on Blackburn.
As you say, they are deluded.

When MK Dons scored close to half time, I was a little concerned. They didn’t look the worst team I’ve seen this season, and their lad took that goal well. It was our second half class that killed them off. We came out and upped our game a gear or two, and it was game over.

Cracking performance from a cracking team. We really have a cracking side here and it shows by the excitement I feel about the next game. I can’t be the only one who can’t wait for the next game. Remember, under Joyce etc, we just wanted the season to end… It was that painful.

Credit to Paul Cook, all his staff, and especially the players. The team spirit and working for each other is as good as I can ever recall. Nick, Will, Michael.. Everyone else too, its just brilliant. Its a fact that you can’t win every game, and you can’t always play pretty and how you like. But it’s about sticking together. If the league was decided by heart and character, we wouldve been champions a long time ago.
