Can anybody help me with my complaint against Shearings. I need to know the exact date of confirmation that the game against Zulte Waregem was being played in Brugge.
      Much appreciated

Not sure exactly when the venue was confirmed but Shearings announced thier package costs at about the same time as we did, I first saw a post of the details on Wiganer. Net as we were opening an account to post the details of the Vital coaches

Look at the time and date of that post, I don’t think the venue details had been announced Until then, shearings through WAFC were the first ones to know, I only confirmed the exact venue to our coach operator on the following Monday morning.

Many thanks for that, it will add a lot more to my argument with Shearings.

The link is to the website of SV Zulte Waregem. They had announced that they would play the game at Brugge.

Have any of the people who traveled with Shearings got any compensation yet?

Would be surprised if anyone got a penny .

If they did shearings would start a flood of claims

They changed the pick up time , if anyone wasnt happy they had chance to book alternative transport

            #122095

They changed the pick-up time, they provided inferior coaches and then they missed the ferry!

Shearings should compensate all the people affected.

£10 cheque or a £10 donation to Wigan Youth Zone, it’s your choice is what they said.

                Im not defending them btw

£10 is an insult but more than I expected

There’s some moaning tw@ts on this forum. It’s a good job we’ll never qualify for Europe again, I can’t be doing with all the drama.

If I had been treated like these men then I would be moaning like fck.

John Spot on. The build up in the Square before the game was amazing and to miss that after being told you would be there in time to enjoy the pre. match atmosphere and paying a PREMIUM price is akin to paying to go to watch your favourite artist in concert and only getting there to see them sing their last song. If they(Shearings) hadn’t altered the original stated departure time this problem wouldn’t have happened. Has anyone found out why the original time was changed?

The drivers on the sub contracted coaches will have used up their hours on the wednesday , therefore only being able to leave their base around 1am (a 9 hour break after a school run sounds not far away ) getting to wigan at the new time of 3am

For £150.00 they should have had two drivers…We are talking about a reputable Travel company. How come another organisation did the same trip for £65.00
