Actually playing Preston away sounds far better, this season has been awful in terms of enjoyment.

I still believe we’ll stay up thanks to how awful most of the relegation candidates are. But with each passing game, starting afresh in the Championship, with a core of half a dozen players who actually care about the club, is looking evermore appealling.

Sadly, its not shocking that the performance was so bad under super bob head – its actually quite predictable. If we where to play well, now that would be shocking.

We’ll head the same way. ‘Quagmire’ of a league, the Championship, and with the team we will have, minus Bramble, Scharner, Figueroa, N’Zogbia, and probably Rodallega, it’ll be bloody hard. Whilst the likes of Leicester, Derby, and Forest, etc, even Blackpool, have been building a side to compete at that level, again we will be messing with building a ‘new’ team.

Perhaps Koumas will come in handy, afterall? :roll:

I tell you what though, if we go down, I am going to embrace it. Go to more away games, and get a new replica (hopefully better than the current one-awful kit) with the Coca Cola badges on. Sound sad? No, just going to enjoy my football again. Saturday afternoons and Tuesday nights, rather than here, there, and everywhere. Fixture changes to suit the armchair masses, and then they wonder why the crowds are down?
