Should I come or should I go!??

I’ve been a life long supporter of WAFC for the last 7 years. Yesterday I texted my ‘ES7 Football friends’ and said I was delighted I was only going to 2 more games this season, I was that hacked off.

We did have a good time in the First division last season though. Can it be repeated??

Next week for Aston Villa, but only because I’m a vulnerable old codger and I’ve said I’d go and shake the can for the Prostate Wigan to Amsterdam bike ride, so please make it worth my while and the Rotherham game because i felt there was a slim chance of a home goal.

I got a couple of nice kind replies back which made me feel as if I will go to a few more games. What it amounts to is that I go for a bit of fun and craic and banter with those great football friends and the hope to see some entertaining football.

What hacks me orf is that I actually think the guys in the team put a lot of effort in and try mighty hard. It’s just they don’t have a coherent game plan to follow. And there are some competent footballers. Clearly BCFC were told at half time to up the tempo, and we had no alternative plan for their quicker game. The guys are doing what they are told to do, and they try hard to get somewhere with it, but it aint working.

We need fake news and alternatives facts and plans.

I sense they are as frustrated as You, Chunk, Mullet, Grand Dad, the twins, Geoff, Tree&Crown32, Kath, Dr Y, Dave, the judge, me and the rest. Maybe more beer next time.

But the dust from the storm storm has settled. There are 10 games and 30 points available; there’ll be an veritable oasis of goals coming along ….. so I’ll probably go again!! Fickle fan that I am!
